My Nutshell

So got a costco card last week… There are 3 other people in WA with my same DL number?! Changed insurance, random things I was told won’t go on my record are. So I pulled my credit report. Looks good except one thing where im in collection but I found out by looking at my credit report. Huh guess I will be watching these things a lot closer. I feel so very safe in America. With or without computers.
Not at all. As for police or government. Per my current records you are the ones that have lied. I no longer believe anything you say. From my own experience.

This month in astrology it’s about moving forward & letting go of what holds you back…
For some reason this makes complete sense right now!
Im going to write all the pain, betrayal, lies until I can’t write about them anymore. Im going to let the emotions come & put them into words. Hopefully by end I will be able to be truer to myself then the voices in my head.
Do for you what you need to let go of all the pain.
Im not taking on anyone else’s emotional drama other then my own. I have too much fight when what I want is love.
Good Luck everyone. Sending best wishes for your own center & peace.

This is something that slips past the Western viewers- it looks like it’s reaching out for Chihiro, in a malicious way, to the Western viewers. It’s what I thought growing up.
However, now, that I know that it’s a way of signalling for someone to ‘Come here!’ in Japan, the scene takes on a whole new meaning.
That spirit knows that if Chihiro doesn’t eat the food, she will disappear. And it knows if it offers the food, she cannot be cursed as a gluttonous pig because it wouldn’t have been stolen.
Just a unique take when you have all of the context.

And also, the red lanterns spell out ‘おいで’ which translates to “Come here” or “Come in” :)

Because culturally its rude to extend an open hand toward someone.

“This piece was primarily a trust exercise, in which she told viewers she would not move for six hours no matter what they did to her.  She placed 72 objects one could use in pleasing or destructive ways, ranging from flowers and a feather boa to a knife and a loaded pistol, on a table near her and invited the viewers to use them on her however they wanted.
Initially, Abramović said, viewers were peaceful and timid, but it escalated to violence quickly.  “The experience I learned was that … if you leave decision to the public, you can be killed… I felt really violated: they cut my clothes, stuck rose thorns in my stomach, one person aimed the gun at my head, and another took it away. It created an aggressive atmosphere. After exactly 6 hours, as planned, I stood up and started walking toward the public. Everyone ran away, escaping an actual confrontation.”
This piece revealed something terrible about humanity, similar to what Philip Zimbardo’s Stanford Prison Experiment or Stanley Milgram’s Obedience Experiment, both of which also proved how readily people will harm one another under unusual circumstances.”
This performance showed just how easy it is to dehumanize a person who doesn’t fight back, and is particularly powerful because it defies what we think we know about ourselves. I’m certain the no one reading this believes the people around him/her capable of doing such things to another human being, but this performance proves otherwise.”

this is why performance art is important

So every single person who told me ‘ignore them they’ll go away’ and ‘you can’t let them know they bothered you’ and ‘They’ll stop if they don’t see you react’ and all that bull shit, my entire school career, I want you to look good and hard at this.
I want you to think about what you said.
What you keep saying.
What you are telling your children.
You are making them powerless.

that last comment. actually crying.

"☿ △ ♄: Negative self-talk is a form of self-harm. Stop it! Love you just the way you are."

- (via yavizbasalamah)

Done this… A couple months ago my friend came to visit. When she left she made a point to tell me; “Treat yourself with love. You are a nice good person. Stop being mean to yourself. You aren’t mean to anyone else.” This was so well said & timing was great to.
BTW she also described me as a hedgehog. Cute & fuzzy on the inside but prickly outside.

Why is focusing in on your thighs or stomach or one other particular body part unhealthy?

If you get really close to Monet’s paintings they’re just smudges and smears and blobs. When you step back and see the whole picture they are masterpieces.

Nice work! ;)
